Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between “EventX” Platform and the Arab Union for Exhibitions and International Conferences to Enhance Cooperation in the Events Sector

“EventX” – the digital platform specialized in marketing and promoting events and the comprehensive guide for the events industry in the Sultanate of Oman – has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Arab Union for Exhibitions and International Conferences, affiliated with the Council of Arab Economic Unity of the League of Arab States. The aim is to enhance strategic partnership between the two parties in the fields of exhibitions, conferences, and events.

The MoU was signed by the General Manager of EventX and Counselor Mahmoud Al-Jarrah, Secretary-General of the Arab Union for Exhibitions and International Conferences. It includes several areas of joint cooperation, most notably:

- Networking between event organizers in Oman and other Arab countries.  
- Implementing training and qualification programs for professionals in the sector.  
- Providing consultancy services through the Union's experts via the platform.  
- Publishing and promoting the Union’s publications in the Omani market.  
- Highlighting Omani experts at the Arab level through the “Speakers Bureau.”  
- Coordinating to launch a joint initiative aimed at developing the events sector in Oman.

Eng. Mohammed Al Balushi, General Manager of EventX, stated:  
*"This partnership marks a qualitative step toward building an integrated Arab network that contributes to the advancement of the events industry and opens new horizons for Omani expertise in the regional arena."*

For his part, Counselor Mahmoud Al-Jarrah affirmed:  
*"Through this MoU, the Union seeks to strengthen its presence in the Omani market and support leading digital platforms in line with the aspirations of the Arab knowledge economy."*

Salim bin Omar Al Hashmi, Board Member of the Arab Union for Exhibitions and International Conferences, also commented:  
*"We are proud of this partnership, which reflects Oman’s growing presence in the Arab events scene. EventX stands as a model of local innovation with regional impact. Through this agreement, we look forward to empowering Omani talents and expanding the scope of joint Arab cooperation."*

This partnership comes as part of both parties’ efforts to unify efforts, exchange expertise and best practices, and achieve integration among key players in the events sector both locally and across the Arab world.
